We are working hard at getting as many shows sponsored as possible. Each of our program packages have a published rate of $450 for one program, and reduced rates ($350 and $320) of additional same day programs. If you team up with another campus nearby, we can give you both discounted rates! This ensures competitive pricing and allows us to provide you the BEST programs at an AFFORDABLE cost.
We want to make sure that everyone is seated comfortably so they can enjoy the show. The programs have been performed for around 200 students and as little as 20. We recommend forming smaller groups by splitting up grade levels in auditoriums, or even performing right inside your classroom. We want to give every child a chance to participate in the Q&A at the end of the performance.
Unafraid’s programs are extremely popular and it is recommended that you book as soon as you can. Most places book about three to nine months before. It’s never too soon or too late to check availability! However, the sooner you book the more likely you will get your desired date and time.
We want to make it as SIMPLE and EASY as it gets! Just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org Make sure to include your first choice of date and time, and your grade level.

We ask for 30 minutes of set up before the initial program at each campus. The performance space will need to be cleared prior to this time. When scheduling shows back-to-back at one campus, we ask for 10-minutes to reset a program for the next group/grade level. This can be done while group 1 exits and group 2 enters.
Each program includes a Q&A session and runs about 55 minutes. It can be shortened to fit your schedule and grade level(s). Don’t want a Q&A? We can still do a 55 minute program by combining two of your chosen topics.
All of our actors are trained performance artists who can perform without microphones.

We will keep in contact with you when the HOLD time is about to expire. We can occasionally extend holds if needed.

Our question and answer section is written to engage adolescents critical thinking skills. They are led with factual research and statistics as they talk to each other about the ways they can cope with undesirable behavior.. Questions are therapist approved and specifically taught to promote boundary setting and coping mechanisms.
Handouts are given covering the topics covered in the program, as well as a bookmark that contains toll-free numbers that offer assistance to those in need.
Unafraid’s purpose is “starting conversations that matter”. By teaching teens and tweens terms like gaslighting, narcissism, love-bombing and body autonomy, we are giving our youth the power and vocabulary to recognize and avoid abusive relationships. When kids are able to understand and vocalize what is happening to them, they are better able to set boundaries or get help. Unafraid is dedicated to making a difference by delivering proactive education in identifiable and engaging productions.
Loveisrespect.org reports that one in three adolescents in the U.S. is a victim of physical, sexual, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner, a figure that far exceeds rates of other types of youth violence. It also found that only 33% of teens who were in a violent relationship ever told anyone about the abuse.

VISUAL learning is said to be one of the most effective ways for a child to absorb information without being bored! Unafraid introduces important terms and concepts that are easily identifiable, memorable and intriguing.
